ADMINISTRATION

MidAmerica is owned and operated by a self-sustaining public trust coordinated by a Board of Trustees that functions much like a corporate board of directors and meets bi-monthly to review all park operations and planning.

The mission of the trust is to create jobs by assisting existing companies with their growth and by locating new firms to MidAmerica.

Lifetime members of the trust include:

The MidAmerica board also includes:

Daily operations for the park are managed by a full-time staff of professionals with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the park.

Services provided by our 25 person staff cover administration, water/wastewater operations and maintenance, marketing, and planning for future growth. The staff also briefs members of the MidAmerica Plant Managers Association at our lodge on industry topics that range from recent environmental legislation to international exporting practices.

Revenues generated by land sales, leases and water sales enable the trust to be self-sustaining; the trust does not rely on state or federal tax dollars for support.
