MidAmerica's transportation network can accommodate the most demanding delivery schedules.
Truck
Providing true "just-in-time" convenience, over 70 trucking companies serve MidAmerica industries on a daily basis.
Four trucking companies have terminals near the park: Hamill Trucking, Robbins Trucking, DistTech and Intermodal Cartage. Major terminal operations are located in Tulsa, just 38 miles west of MidAmerica.
Wal-Mart has an estimated 8 million square feet of warehouse space located 82 miles east of MidAmerica in Bentonville, Arkansas. With limited back-haul opportunities from that region, MidAmerica industries can benefit through lower rates.
Rail
The Union Pacific railroad serves MidAmerica with lead rails running throughout the park. A mainline track and switching yard are located adjacent to the park along US Highway 69, a divided four lane.
Air
The MidAmerica Airport (H71) is located on-site with a 5,000-foot runway capable of handling most business jets, a PAPI system and 24-hour credit fueling system with both jet fuel and avgas. The park owns and operates the airport which is classified as regional business airport (RBA).
The Tulsa International Airport, located 27.1 nautical miles west of MidAmerica, offers both passenger and freight services. Passenger services are offered by American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, United, Express Jet, Frontier and NWA Airlink. There are approximately 165 arrivals and departures per day.
Freight services are offered by FedEx, UPS, DHL and American Airlines. Also, Southwest provides airfreight solutions. Over 95% of the US population is within 2 1/2 hours flight time from Tulsa.
Water
Three inland ports are located within 45 miles of MidAmerica providing economical barge transportation to intercontinental, coastal and foreign destinations year 'round. These well-equipped facilities include Port 33 just 16 miles from MidAmerica, the Port of Muskogee, and the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, the nation's most inland ice-free port.
Overnight
Federal Express, UPS, and DHL serve park industries on a daily basis. Major freight terminals for Federal Express and UPS are located at the Tulsa International Airport.

Logistics Network Study
A logistics network study completed by Ian Wright of Nuvecta affirms that MidAmerica is cost effective and efficient to major markets over a 100,000 population.
Mr. Wright is a seasoned supply chain and logistics professional. He has held senior level positions with Castrol, Excel Logistics, Caliber Logistics and FedEx Logistics.
"If a manufacturing company just had to pick one location (in the U.S.) for their operations, this (MidAmerica) would be a good one," said Wright. "In other words, MidAmerica is ideally located for those firms with a limited number of distribution centers or manufacturing facilities due to proximity to population centers."
