MidAmerica is located in northeast Oklahoma at the crossroads of US Highways 69 and 412, and near "America's Crossroads" - I-35, I-40 and I-44. The site is just 38 miles east of Tulsa, Oklahoma and 60 miles west of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
MidAmerica is also located virtually midway between two of the fastest growing metropolitan areas - Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas (267 miles) and Kansas City, Missouri (245 miles). Three major interstate highways are nearby: I-44, 21 miles north; I-40, 57 miles south; and I-35, 129 miles west.

The Union Pacific railroad serves MidAmerica with lead rails running throughout the park. The mainline, commonly known as the "North American Rail Link," is adjacent to the park.
According to ESRI 2007 estimates, over 319,000 people reside within a "30-mile radius" of MidAmerica and over 100,000 within a 20-mile radius. Over 33.5 million people live in the west south central region of the nation with an estimated effective buying income of over $587 billion according to the 2005 Survey of Buying Power.

MidAmerica is virtually centered in the "hotbed" of trucking companies. Ten of the nation's largest trucking companies are located within a 50-150 miles radius including Arkansas Best, Arrow Trucking, Contract Freighters, USA Truck Inc., Groendyke, J.B. Hunt, P.A.M., ABF, CFI and Prime.
