In addition to our available buildings, prospective industries may choose to select park land to construct their own facility on a build-to-suit basis. Importantly, "green-field" sites are amply available.
MidAmerica also has a number of "BuildNow" shovel-ready sites available for immediate construction. BuildNow sites are just what the name implies: shovel-ready sites will allow you the opportunity to start construction immediately without delays that are so common with building of large industrial manufacturing or distribution facilities.
Our BuildNow sites do not require building permits. If a site is purchased in the morning, construction can begin in the afternoon. Firms that acquire a BuildNow site must follow IBC (International Building Code) standards and have the proper insurance to start construction.
BuildNow sites have all the utilities in place, ready to connect. The park owns the water and wastewater treatment systems and carries an umbrella NPDES permit to cover the discharge requirements for industries.
